Tipping Instructions
Newton Motion Fairway Wood shafts were developed due to the overwhelming
acceptance of the Newton Motion Driver Shafts. Golfers of all ability levels demanded
that we develop a fairway wood version of the incredibly popular driver shaft to help
them hit longer and straighter shots with their fairway woods … with less effort.
Newton Motion Fairway Wood shafts incorporate all the same premium materials and
technologies that are used in the driver shafts. This includes our elongated bend profile
designs … optimized for fairway wood shaft lengths … and a proprietary kinetic storage
construction technique that allows energy generated during the swing to be stored and
release in a highly effective and controlled manner. And each individual flex (or Dot)
utilizes an optimized bend design and different torque profiles to ensure maximum
performance based on swing speed.
Importantly, though, the tip area of Newton Motion Fairway Wood shafts has been
reinforced to withstand turf interaction associated with shots from hard-packed fairways.
Get on that par 5 in two! Put a Newton Motion Fairway Wood shaft in your #3, #5 or #7
fairway wood and experience more distance and accuracy … from the fairway … with
less effort.
No tip cut is required for installation into #3 woods. It is recommended that 1/2 “ be cut from the tip for use in #5 woods, and 1.0” be cut from the tip before installation in #7 woods. Shafts should be cut to preferred length (before grip installation) from the butt end.
Motion Fairway Flex Guide
Newton Golf Shafts are all about the physics. Your fairway or driver doesn’t know your age, your handicap, or gender. So why should the flexes be defined that way? We kept it simple. Find the Dot (Flex) that best fits your game. Our recommendation? Choose fairway wood flexes/dots according to your driver club head speeds.
Distance made easy.
